 Hi there! Peyton here! I am going to tell you all a little bit about myself and share my passions, interests, and myself with you guys!

    My name is Peyton Fanning, I am a 22-year-old, college student at Tarleton State University in Texas. I am currently a senior communication studies major with a concentration in sports communication and a minor in technical writing! I am an aspiring journalist, a sister in Phi Mu, and a girl trying to figure life out!

    I am from a small town in Texas. I went to elementary school, middle school, and high school all in the same town in Gunter, Texas. At Gunter, I was a cheerleader from middle school until my senior year of high school. I went from having a pretty good amount of friends to being alone and having no friends at college. 

    I got to Tarleton my freshman year, 19 years old, ready to make friends and have a great time. Well, reality hit me. I ended up not making a single friend other than my roommate and I was in my dorm room at all times except when I went to class. I had no one. Then COVID-19 hit and I was sent back to my hometown.

    In my sophomore year, I decided to rush! I was excited, nervous, scared, all of the emotions. At the end of sorority recruitment, I found my forever home in Phi Mu. 

    I have traveled (thanks to my parents) to so many beautiful places and made so many amazing memories. I am a dog mom to the most amazing fur baby, Bonnie. and I have really found my place. I am now, as I said, a junior in college (almost a senior!!) and have the best friends, at home and school! I hope you enjoy my blog and I hope that people can relate to me!
